The Renting Process

Step 1 Register your interest

The first step to finding the precise property is to register with us either by calling us on 020 7272 0874 or visiting one of our 2 offices where you can talk about your property requirements with one of our local agents. You can also register your interest about a particular property online if you are short of time.

With thousands of varieties of properties to choose from, you can be guaranteed that we have just what you’re looking for.

Step 2 Finding the right property

Once we have a clear understanding of your requirements, you will be given a selection of properties that match your criteria. We can also keep you constantly up-to-date via email and SMS alerts when the latest properties become accessible.

Step 3 Is a short let right for you?

A short let is best if you are in search of a short term residential solution and offers a good substitute to staying in a hotel or serviced apartment.

They are particularly popular with visitors to the capital, people getting to know a new area or those renovating or moving home. A short let can propose flexibility in rental length and is more often than not furnished to a high standard, with the entire bills included in the rent (apart from telecommunication services).

Step 4 Benefits of Corporate Services

Marble Property Group supports hundreds of companies who are locating properties for their employees.

Renting a property through this specialist department has the benefit of your own dedicated Account Manager, detailed local information, recommendation and guidance on the letting process and rental/leasing market, centralized searching to save you the time and effort to register with several offices and a multi-lingual department.

Step 5 Consider a managed property

An ever-increasing amount of tenants insist on renting wholly managed properties for absolute peace of mind.
Renting a supervised property has the advantage of a keen Property Manager to handle your day-to-day concerns, as well as a definite 24-hour helpline with emergency contact information should a problem arise, and the guarantee that your property is completely compliant with all the safety policies (including Electrical Safety, Gas Safety, Furniture and Furnishings acts).

Step 6 The solution to successful viewings

We are open at times that suits your convenience, well-situated for viewing after work and at weekends:
You are welcome to visit our offices at about 9am up to 8pm on Mondays to Fridays, and 9am up to 5pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Furthermore, our phone lines are entirely open from 8am up to 8pm, all week long.

With the intention of securing a property we recommend an early viewing. In addition, we will transport you to your viewings making sure that you arrive in a relaxed disposition and escort you all throughout so that we are readily available to respond your questions and advise where necessary.

Step 7 Making an offer

Once you have identified a suitable property you will be required to complete an application for tenancy where you may state any special conditions of the offer and provide details for your references. We will then communicate this offer to the landlord.

Step 8 Offer agreed

If your offer is accepted, we will organize the following regardless of whether your property is managed:

Collect references from the referees that you have provided
Assemble signing of the Tenancy Agreement
Gather your moving in payment (rent + deposit)

Step 9 Completion

Upon completion, you will be given a set of keys and if your property is managed we will provide you with your dedicated Property Manager’s contact details.

Congratulations, you can now move into your new home!
