What is a Break Clause?

Every agreement needs a binding contract to ensure that everyone is truthful to all things agreed. A break clause is a part of a contract that allows a tenant to end the contract on an earlier timeframe. This may be done 6 months’ prior before ending the tenancy agreement but it needs 2-month notice period.

If you have a whole year time of tenancy and you are planning to leave, then it can be done after the first six months of tenancy then will be acknowledge within 2 months of notice so it will be a total of eight months before your request for a break clause to be approved.
